Servers and players have a flag you can hover to see countrycode/-name. Map-thumbnails show up when the map has been added to the new mapcommunity.
Map information and downloadoption is in the map-overlay (hover over image).
You can enable joinsounds to get notified when people join a server.
Enabling the "hidden" option will also notify you when someone joins a server that's not shown due to selected filters.
